I went to Sterling and they said the only code they could fine was one thats on my dash display, which reads. It has developed a engine code that when it DOES come on stays on for almost an hours, it keeps re flashing the code, which looks like just one single flash, then lights stays on for 20 seconds and repeats.after an hour it seems to go out and does not resurface or show up again for sometimes a week or two.now it has got to the point where after about 15 minutes of the engine code light, ( NOT THE ENGINE PROTECTION LIGHT )being on it will shut the truck down, I did'nt even get pulled over,as it caught me a little off gaurd, (and I had left the truck in gear, as if it was being tugged along with the truck in gear.) and it re fired and the light went out, I should also mention, that it seems to do this more when its raining or the truck is driving into the uld this be a green wire/corrosion on the ecm plug ? it has only done that once to me and I am affraid to go very far with the truck now.
